Everything you need to know about attending R5 Summit 2026. If your question is not answered here, it may be addressed in a future version of this document.
Answers to questions we receive with enough frequency to warrant a documented response.
The R5 Summit is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and moderately optimized environment for all attendees regardless of platform preference, editor configuration, organizational topology, or preferred standup cadence.
Conduct concerns may be directed to any member of the R5 Summit Organizing Committee, identifiable by their lanyards. Reports will be reviewed by a subcommittee whose composition will be determined following the report submission. Response timelines are dependent on committee availability and the nature of the concern.
High-speed conference Wi-Fi is available throughout all R5 Summit venues. In keeping with our philosophy of adaptive resilience, the Wi-Fi password is rotated every four hours to encourage adaptability.
Network name (SSID)
Credential rotation is a core practice in secure environments. We've extended this principle to our attendee Wi-Fi as a gentle reminder that adaptability is a professional competency. Password updates will be announced on digital signage throughout the venue.
Note: If you are unable to connect after a password rotation, this is intentional. Please use the downtime to engage in an unstructured hallway conversation. Cellular data is also available and not subject to rotation.
R5 Summit 2026 is held at a venue in the Mountain View Adjacent area of the greater San Francisco Bay region. Full venue address will be confirmed and communicated to registered attendees no later than three weeks prior to the event, pending final contract execution.
The venue is accessible from SFO, SJC, and OAK airports. Ground transportation options include rideshare, rental car, Caltrain (to a station that is within walking or additional rideshare distance), and personal vehicle. Parking availability is unconfirmed.
R5 Summit does not have a negotiated hotel block. Attendees are encouraged to book accommodations in the Mountain View / Sunnyvale / Palo Alto / Santa Clara corridor. Early booking is recommended given concurrent events in the region whose names we are not at liberty to mention.
R5 Summit is committed to providing an accessible experience for all attendees. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us at least 30 days in advance so we may work with the venue to explore available accommodations. We will do our best within the constraints of the selected venue, once selected.
